PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct injection molding for uncrystallized polyethylene terephthalate into warp-free molded articles excellent in mechanical strength, and to promote the recycling of molded articles made of uncrystallized polyethylene terephthalate such as PET bottles. SOLUTION: When flakes obtained by crushing a molded product of the uncrystallized polyethylene terephthalate, a crystal nucleating agent, a crystallization promotor and a rubber-like polymer for reinforcement are melt-mixed in an injection-molding machine, 0.3 wt.% or higher carbon dioxide is dissolved. The resultant molten polyethylene terephthalate composition is injected into a mold cavity previously pressurized with carbon dioxide. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
