PURPOSE: Provided is a resource intake unit of a resource recovery apparatus for stably moving the resource and precisely sensing movement of the resource, and further provided is a method for controlling the same. CONSTITUTION: The unit comprises a fixing member(106) coupled to an introject panel(102) having a resource intake hole, a pair of sliding members(109,109') fixed to the fixing member(106) by a plurality of bolt and nuts and sliding rightward and leftward by ball bearing, a pair of motors(110,110') fixed to an upper surface of the sliding member(109,109') and including reducers(112,112') with reducing shafts which enter moving holes of the fixing member(106), rotatable cylinders(120,120') coupled to respective reducing shafts and having compensating ribs(120a,120a') therein, a guide member(130) installed between the rotatable cylinders(120,120') for guiding movement of resource input through the intake hole, resource intake detecting sensors(140,140') for detecting intake of resources to start motors(110,110') and transmitting the detected signal to a controller, a PET bottle detecting sensor(150) for detecting PET bottles of the intake resources, color detecting sensors(160,160') for detecting color of the PET bottles, and a position detecting sensor(170) for detecting position of the resources to stop the motors(110,110'). |
