PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication apparatus capable of simplifying entry operations in the case of calling a mobile communication apparatus being a called object and relieving the load of the user. SOLUTION: The mobile communication apparatus a line mode wherein communication is available by using a line network and a non-line mode wherein communication is available without using the line network, and has a control means capable of switching the mode from the non-line mode into the line mode when the communication is disabled in the non-line mode. Since the control means can make communication after the mode switching from non-line mode into the line mode when the communication is disabled in the non-line mode, it is not required to separately make a call operation different from a conventional PHS and the entry operation to call a PHS1 being a call object can be much simplified than that of the conventional PHS.
