PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove a electromagnetic waves and issue an alarm of an electric leakage by installing an earth device between equipment and an outlet, facilitating the earthing, and solving a present problem of having no earth where a power supply of the electronic equipment is taken from a wall outlet or a socket strip, however, most of the wall outlets have no earth terminal. SOLUTION: This earth device is so formed that an electric leakage detecting circuit 1 and a cold/hot detecting circuit 5 are disposed in series, the electric leakage detecting circuit 1 detects the electric leakage with a resistor 4 and a neon bulb 3 disposed in parallel to a positive temperature coefficient heat sensitive resistor device 2, and the cold/hot detecting circuit 5 comprises a neon bulb 7 and a resistor 8 detecting the cold side of the outlet.
