<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a broadcast service fit to the demands of viewers. <P>SOLUTION: The broadcast channel is divided into a first usual broadcast channel and a second channel for selective broadcast programs only. A broadcast station BS previously stores data of a plurality of selective broadcast programs. A broadcast managing center BC collects program acquisition requests from the audience having broadcast receivers RS1-RSn and weights them using condition information, obtains statistical data from the weighted program acquisition requests, an transmits the statistical data to the broadcast station BS. The broadcast station BS selects corresponding selective broadcast programs, based on the statistical data informed from the managing center BC, and broadcasts them over the second broadcast channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
