FUNCTIONAL FIBER AND TEXTILE USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a functional fiber whose external appearance such as the color and pattern can be changed at any time as a user desires and to provide a textile which uses the functional fiber.

SOLUTION: A dispersion system obtained by dispersing migrating particles 4 in a dispersant solvent 3 is charged in a transparent hollow yarn 2. The distribution state of the migrating particles 4 is changed by applying a voltage and a magnetic field to change the outward appearance as needed. Function fibers or a functional fiber and a nonfunctional fiber are woven to obtain the textile having a display function.
