PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device, capable of preventing rattling of an operation lever when unclamped, and improving operation feeling to the operation lever when clamped. SOLUTION: Rattling restricting parts 26b and 26c of the operation lever become gradually open outward in the car width direction as they separate from a car body side member 16 when unclamped so as to push force outward in the car width direction through a cam mechanism 33 to a lever connection part 32a for regulating axial move.
