PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which can prevent the spacing between substrates from becoming nonuniform due to an adhesive when bonding a heat radiator to the substrates. SOLUTION: The first and second heat radiators 23 and 24 consist of a material with thermal conductivity higher than the first and second substrates 25 and 26 of a display element 21. The first heat radiator is laminated to the first substrate with an adhesive 22, and the second heat radiator is laminated to the second substrate with the adhesive. In the state the first and second heat radiating are laminated, the first and second heat radiators are formed so that the spacing between the first heat radiator and the first substrate in at least part of a residual region except a substrate laminating region to laminate the substrates, and the spacing between the second heat radiator and the second substrate are made smaller than the substrate laminating region. The first and second heat radiators thus formed can prevent the spacing between the substrates from becoming nonuniform due to the adhesive. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
