PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data setting method for a molding taking-out machine which can make setting/inputting work be done efficiently even by an unskilled operator, by enabling the setting/inputting by indicating only a setting item indispensable for an action mode when various data of the action mode are set/input, and making the setting/inputting work efficient by preventing data of a mode other than the selected action mode being changed. SOLUTION: Various data on the take-out action of the molding taking-out machine for taking out a molding in the mold of a resin molding machine outside the molding machine by holding it by a chuck are set/input on the basis of various setting items indicated on a display. (1) A menu scope for indicating action modes to be set is indicated on the display, and a desired action mode is made possible to be selected by the menu scope. (2) When the desired action mode is selected, a setting item corresponding to the action mode is selected. (3) The selected setting item is indicated, and data are made possible to be input.
