<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the manufacturing cost of a terminal and the degree of the complicate working, and to ensure the mechanical performance of a terminal by providing an electronic connector terminal with zero insertion force. <P>SOLUTION: In the electronic connector terminal with zero insertion force, a strip of the terminal is integrally punched and bent, and includes a base part, a soldered part and a contact part. The contact part has an elastic arm and a holding part. Before the electric connector terminal is bent in a punching process, the contact part already forms a ring-shaped accommodation space. The bending work bends the entire contact part in a perpendicular manner to the plane of the base part. The occupied area of the strip is reduced thereby, the use of the strip is saved, the production cost is reduced, any complicated bending is not required, and the production of the terminal is simplified to favorably improve the production rate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
