The spray bar (4) for spreading bitumen on the ground comprises a series of principal spraying nozzles (bp,bPG,bPD) whose assembly allows the covering of the ground with a bitumen band (300) extending between two end covering points (A,B). The bitumen layers deposited by two principal contiguous nozzles overlap over a width (Le) equal to (L x (N-1))/N where N represents the maximum number of bitumen layers in the central part of the band. The spray bar comprises at one of its two ends, N-1 additional nozzles (b1,b2,...bN-1). An Independent claim is included for a vehicle fitted with a spray bar.
