<p>PURPOSE: Provided are a method and an apparatus for treating municipal solid waste (MSW) and reducing waste amount to be buried in landfill site by reclamation of the waste, decomposition of organic materials and moisture vaporization. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises the steps of (a) inputting MSW and bio-seed into a reactor, (b) causing a first reaction between the MSW and the bio-seed, thereby producing a first intermediate (c), a first separation for separating organic materials, called a second intermediate, and inorganic materials in the first intermediate using a first separator, (d) causing a second reaction of the second intermediate in an aerated composting device, thereby producing a third intermediate, (e) a second separation for separating foreign matters from the third intermediate using a second separator, thereby producing a fourth intermediate and (f) post-treating the fourth intermediate, thereby producing compost.</p> |
