<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring action that can precisely and accurately measure sliding and rolling in a contact in a relay and the distance between the contacts, and the like. <P>SOLUTION: Markers 18, 19 such as an x-mark are applied in advance in two portions of the movable contact 1 of a movable component. The movable contact 1 and the fixed contact 4 during action are photographed at a high speed to obtain a plurality of still images. Displacements of the markers 18, 19 are read based on the respective still images, and a rotation angle of the movable contact 1 is found by computation, based thereon. A rolling quantity and a sliding amount of the movable contact 1 are found using the rotation angle of the movable contact 1 found thereby and two-dimensional displacement amounts of the respective markers 18, 19 to analyze precisely and accurately the action of the movable contact 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
