<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To recover silver and lead in an adequately separated form, from a copper electrolysis slime. <P>SOLUTION: The method for recovering noble metals from the copper electrolysis slime comprises a silver leaching step of leaching silver in nitric acid and precipitating lead with sulfuric acid, out of a silver-lead-containing dross obtained from the copper electrolysis slime, a silver leaching step of separating the leached slurry into the silver-nitrate-containing liquid and the lead-sulfate- containing solid dross, and a silver recovering step of adjusting the silver-nitrate- containing liquid to a neutral or alkaline state to precipitate silver oxide, and separating it into a solid and a liquid to recover the silver oxide precipitates. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
