<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display element which has long life and a high aperture rate and hardly causes crosstalk light emission. <P>SOLUTION: This organic EL display device is equipped with Scan lines 3, Data and Source lines 4 which are arranged crossing the Scan lines 3, and a pixel part consisting of organic EL elements 1 which have light emission layers arranged in matrix in an areas where the Scan lines 3 and Data and Source lines 4 cross each other and one transistor 2 which has its source connected to an organic EL element 1, its drain connected to a Data and Source line 4, and its gate connected to a Scan line 3.
