PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water supply device for solving such a problem that the conventional faucet metal fitting is used only by opening and shutting a watercourse or adjusting a discharge rate, water is continuously discharged unless a user operates a handle or a lever to close the valve once the lever has been opened to overflow the water onto the neighborhood or leave the excessive water flowing by forgetting about closing the valve, it results in making a very uneconomical failure so as to have a claim for expensive water charges and that household effects get wet by the overflowing water to oblige the user to pay high repairing expenses. SOLUTION: In the water supply device comprised of a water supply connection inlet connecting one end to a water supply source, a water discharge outlet making the other end as an air open, the valve having a closing mechanism in the way to the water supply connection inlet and the water discharge outlet and the operating lever connected to the valve, the closing mechanism having a delay timer section operating by rotating the handle making a spring as a driving source.
