PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an analytical method and a separation method capable of accurately separating and detecting components having proximate peaks such as analogous elements. SOLUTION: A sample SA is injected in an eluant SS by a sample injecting device 23 and passed through both an auxiliary mixer 25 and a mixer 27. When the injected sample SA is passed through the auxiliary mixer 25, the injected sample SA is gradually diffused and gently mixed with the ambient eluant SS. When the sample SA is passed through the mixer 27, the sample SA is sufficiently mixed with the eluant SS by a mixer main body 27b to achieve a homogeneous mixed liquid M. Then the mixed liquid M emergent from the mixer 27 is extruded by the eluant SS forcibly fed from the sample injecting device 23 and introduced to one end 29a of a separation column 29 to complete the filling of the separation column 29 with the sample SA.
