PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base fabric for artificial lawn, having suitable flexibility, being scarcely cracked longitudinally, and having enough strength, by using a reclaimed polyethylene terephthalate resin. SOLUTION: This base fabric for the artificial lawn is formed by mixing a specified amount of a polybutylene terephthalate resin into the polyethylene terephthalate resin. The base fabric preferably contains a specific amount of a linear low-density polyethylene. The formed base fabric is excellent in moldability and impact resistance, has the suitable flexibility, is scarcely cracked longitudinally, and has the enough strength.
