PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool having an interlock function capable of smoothly restarting action of an energization means, achieving high reliability at a low cost, and detecting malfunction of a power part even when failure of a position speed detector occurs. SOLUTION: In this machine tool 1, an interlock effective signal Sb is set high to set the interlock function effective at timing other than execution timing of a machining control process. As the interlock function becomes effectively, supply of a current to a servo amplifier 12 is not stopped, but determination if a motor 11 is in a normal action state or not by a comparator 33 is started. When it is determined that the motor 11 is in the normal action state by the comparator 33, supply of the current to the motor 11 by a current amplifier 23 is stopped, and a feeding passage 14 is set in a disconnected state by a common-to-all-axis relay circuit 19.
