<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus capable of performing the illumination of a condensing illuminator by hand-free operation, in order to solve the problem that the setting of the illumination position of the condensing illuminator of a medical chair unit is troublesome because manually performed each time heretofore and disinfection is required. <P>SOLUTION: The operation of the condensing illuminator of the medical chair unit in all of up and down, left and right and oblique illumination directions is performed in connection with the set angle of a backrest by a spherical ultrasonic motor. The medical chair unit is equipped with an illumination mechanism comprising a first spherical ultrasonic motor arranged in the leading end of the fixing arm protruded toward a headrest from the region above a light pole, the second spherical ultrasonic motor arranged in the leading end of the extension arm of the shaft of the first motor and the condensing illuminator directly connected to the leading end of the shaft of the second motor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
