PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a rectifier circuit capable of amplifying the current twice or larger, without using a transformer. SOLUTION: This half wave rectifier circuit comprises at least a first-stage closed circuit, formed by connecting an AC power supply Vac, a first diode D1, a first reactor L1, and a load RL in series, a second-stage closed circuit formed by connecting a second reactor L2, a second diode D2, the first reactor L1, and the load RL in series, a third-stage closed circuit formed by connecting a third reactor L3, a third diode D3, the second reactor L2, and the load RL in series, and a last-stage closed circuit formed by connecting a fourth diode D4, the third reactor L3, and the load RL in series.
