PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing pressed parts by which deterioration in coating suitability as a problem in parts subjected to pressing at high temperatures is suppressed. SOLUTION: A steel sheet subjected to plating of one or more kinds selected from Ni, Cr and Cu is allowed to reside in an air atmosphere heated at 500 to 1,080°C so that the residence time t (sec) of the steel sheet satisfies the inequality (1), and is, if required, allowed to reside in an inert atmosphere so that its residence time ta (sec) satisfies the inequality (2), and is thereafter subjected to pressing at 500 to 1,050°C; in the formulae (1) and (2), T is the temperature (K); Tm is the maximum arrival temperature (K); and d is the plating thickness (μm).
