METHOD FOR FABRICATING LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A method for fabricating a liquid crystal display is provided to irradiate ultraviolet rays on a liquid crystal display panel with a region where a dummy UV hardening sealant is overlapped with a cell cut line being covered with a mask, to easily cut the panel into cells. CONSTITUTION: Lower and upper substrates(200,300) are prepared. A closed main UV hardening sealant is coated on one of the lower and upper substrates, and a closed dummy UV hardening sealant is coated on the area surrounding the main UV hardening sealant. Liquid crystal is dispensed onto one of the two substrates. The lower and upper substrates are attached to each other. A region where the dummy UV hardening sealant is overlapped with a cell cut line is covered with a mask(950) and ultraviolet rays are irradiated on the attached substrate. The attached substrate is cut into unit cells.
