PURPOSE: A device for checking a TDM(Time Division Multiplexing) line using a vocoder is provided to include a predetermined message for checking stability between vocoders in PCM data, and to transceive the data, thereby checking stability of the TDM line and detecting an error channel. CONSTITUTION: A synchronous message delivery unit(200) transmits a synchronous message for checking stability of a TDM line when transmitting a decoded vocoder packet through the TDM line. A checking message delivery unit(300) includes the stability checking message in PCM data, and transmits the PCM data. A synchronous message receiver(500) receives the synchronous message for checking the stability from the PCM data received through the TDM line. A checking message receiver(600) receives the stability checking message included in the PCM data.
