<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire repairing cover for repairing wires capable of being used for various types of wires with various diameters without problems as well as complete and secure attachment to a core-wire position of the peeled wire by means of an indirect hot line method. <P>SOLUTION: This cover for repairing wires is formed out of a pair of cover members 1a, 1b on both sides in a roughly half-cylindrical shape. One side of the respective cover members 1a, 1b is connected so as to be opened/closed freely along a longitudinal direction through a hinge 2, and the other side is set so as to be detachable through attachment members 3, 5. The prescribed number of vertically protruding pieces 8a, 8b having elasticity in the diametrical direction which are protruded so as to face each other is provided at inner peripheral surfaces of the both sides cover members 1a, 1b. A laterally protruding piece 7 which is protruded in a longitudinal direction so as to meet the vertically protruding pieces 8a, 8b is provided at the inner peripheral surface of one cover member 1b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
