PURPOSE: An IPC(Inter Process Communication) structure for an NMS(Network Management System) is provided to manage various communication equipments and networks in one NMS by integrating the structure of an IPC used in the NMS. CONSTITUTION: An IPC processing scheme is defined in an SCP(Service Access Point) region indicating portion in an NMS. A format of information, with respect to the length of a protocol data unit and the existence of another file or a transmission unit logically or physically associated with the length of the protocol data unit, is defined in a header indicating portion. A format of information to a destination of a message and a last end destination of a managed object system is defined in a destination indicating portion. A format of a message corresponding to data attribute information to be transmitted to a destination system is defined in a data indicating portion.
