PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve problems of a non-blood-drawing blood sugar meter, that effective and appropriate use of the non-blood-drawing handy blood sugar meter for control of a blood sugar level requires relieving of a patient from a pain associated with blood drawing, and complicating and enlarging of the meter are unavoidable. SOLUTION: To achieve simplification and weight reduction, the non-blood drawing blood sugar meter adopts a method of irradiating the earlobe with near-infrared rays of a specific wavelength, converting the transmission factor to a blood sugar level by using a correlation table prepared between the transmission factor and the blood sugar level precisely analyzed at the same time rather than a method of completing a quantitative analysis.
