PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely raise accuracy of capping by sealing a nozzle forming face at a predetermined position by a capping means. SOLUTION: This inkjet recorder comprises a suction pump communicating to an inner section of a cap member 9a via a flexible tube 51 extended to one side of the capping means 9, and a slider 15 that is provided to the suction pump at the side of the capping means 9 and displaces the capping means 9 between a capping position and a non-capping position. A guide 52 for restricting the position of the capping means 52 by urging one side face of a recording head 12 by receiving an elastic force of the flexible tube 51 is provided to the slider 15 at the side of the tube drawing section.
