MAGNESIUM-CONTAINED METAL FILM AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A magnesium-contained metal film is provided to obtain improved electromagnetic wave shielding efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A metal film includes a magnesium-contained metal layer which is formed on at least one surface of a metal film. The magnesium-contained metal layer is made of only magnesium or an alloy of magnesium and another metal. The magnesium-contained metal layer is formed by an electrochemical method, and a thickness of the electrochemical is a range of 10 nanometers to 1000 micrometers. A metal material of the metal film is one selected from a group of aluminum, nickel, iron, silver, copper and zinc.
