PURPOSE: A locking system using a mobile communication terminal and controlling method therefore are provided to compose a communication module capable of communicating with the mobile communication terminal in the locking system, transmit and receive a digital encryption signal with a specific pattern, and release a locking function by a multi-stage. CONSTITUTION: A locking system(1) has a CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) module(3) for performing a wireless communication with a mobile communication terminal(2), and a pattern signal generator(4) for generating an encrypted pattern code signal of the locking system(1). The locking system(1) has a control unit(5) for transmitting the encryption pattern code signal generated by the pattern signal generator(4) to the mobile communication terminal(2) through the CDMA module(3), controlling a multi-stage password confirmation function, and determining whether a locking function is released. The mobile communication terminal(2) has a pattern signal generator(6) for generating an encryption pattern code signal same to the encryption pattern code signal of the locking system(1), and a CDMA module(7) for transmitting the encryption pattern code signal of the pattern signal generator(6) to the locking system(1), receiving the password transmitted from the locking system(1), and displaying the password on an LCD panel(8).
