PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite wire for electromagnetic transformations whereby one of the electromagnetic transformers having arbitrary shapes which include a thin plate-form one can be selected from the ones having the same electromagnetic transformation performance regardless of their shapes. SOLUTION: The composite wire for electromagnetic transformations comprises two or more wires for passing therethrough currents which are insulated electrically from each other, and a hollow wire having a ferromagnetic characteristic for surrounding two or more wires. The wires for passing therethrough currents comprise two kinds of wires in the wires of one kind of which the currents are made to flow forcedly and from the wires of the other kind of which there are derived the voltages induced by the forced current- flowings in the wires of the one kind.
