PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic live line switching circuit surely connecting a live line terminal to a conductor when connected to a commercial power source, and to provide a negative ion generating device. SOLUTION: The automatic live line switching circuit comprises a rectifier circuit 31 connected to a terminal 1b of a power plug 1, a level comparing circuit 32 connected to the rectifier circuit, a detected signal keeping circuit 33 keeping the signal of the level comparing circuit 33, and a switching circuit 34 connecting either the terminal 1a or the terminal 1b of the power plug to the conductor part 2. The switching circuit 34 connects the live line terminal to the conductor in response to the level detection signal from the detected signal keeping circuit 33. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
