<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide cover structure and an electronic instrument saving a space for installing an unlocking button and a finger applying part and having high design capability without damaging external appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The unlocking button 40 and the finger applying part 42 are adjacently installed in a cover body 34. When the cover body 34 is opened, a finger tip of the thumb for example is put on a head part 401 of the unlocking button 40 and pressed to unlock the cover body 34 locked with a locking means, and at the same time the finger tip of the thumb for example is unconsciously put even on the finger applying part 42.
