The shuttering (1) supports poured concrete for the broad side of the concrete track bed for the railway and consists of a sheet of plywood 6 mm thick. The plywood sheet rests on a set of wooden lamellae (2) with a cross-section of 4x8 cm and a length of approximately 6 m. The lamellae are fastened to the plywood sheet and are individually supported on e.g. hydraulic cylinders (3). The cylinders may be set to give the required curvature for changes in gradient of the track and are closely spaced together.
