<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antireflection film having low reflectance and excellent scratch resistance and to provide an image display device using the film. <P>SOLUTION: The antireflection film comprises a transparent supporting body and a low refractive index layer having a lower refractive index than that of the transparent supporting body.
