PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily assemblable gas sensor 10 having a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This gas sensor is equipped with a passage forming member 20 having a measuring chamber 28 wherein gas exists and a storage part 22 arranged face to face with the measuring chamber 28, a piezoelectric element 51 for measuring gas property, and an element case 42 for storing the ultrasonic element 51. The element case 42 and the passage forming member 20 are formed from a synthetic resin. The element case 42 is jointed by a joint 41b formed by ultrasonic welding on a support face 22a of the passage forming member 20. The joint 41b seals the measuring chamber 28 from the outside.
