PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an electric compressor wherein cabin inside noise generated from an electric compressor main body is reduced by disposing a control means to suppress vibration of the electric compressor main body to be low by providing a vibration detection means. SOLUTION: This electric compressor is provided with the electric compressor main body 10 which is fixed to a vehicle body side via an elastic member 14 and integrally stores a compression part 12 for compressing refrigerant and an electric motor part 13 for driving the compression part 12 at the inside, and an inverter control device 20 which is outputted to the electric motor part 13 and controls the number of revolution. The electric compressor main body 10 is provided with a vibration sensor 15 for detecting vibration information of the electric compressor main body 10. The inverter control device 20 controls the number of revolution of the electric motor part 13 according to vibration information detected from the vibration sensor 15.
