PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide technique effective in a case study for studying the layout of cargo handling articles for a factory, a warehouse, etc. SOLUTION: This device is composed of: a plurality of pieces 1 to be attracted imitating the cargo handling articles; and an attracting board 2, wherein a plurality of compartments 2c comparted into an extent smaller than that of the piece 1 are displayed on a layout plain part 2a to which the pieces 1 are attracted. The piece 1 has a sheet-shaped magnet, and the attracting board includes an iron plate so as to attract the piece 1. The pieces 1 are arranged on the layout plain part 2a of the attracting board 2, thereby studying the layout of the cargo handling articles, and copying/storing the layout plan after study.
