The water jet feeder consists of a pressure-resistant body (1) with an inner chamber (7) containing a cylindrical filter (9) and a perforated plate with a seal (20) covering its outlet channel (12). The seal holder is made with a thin first section in contact with the perforated plate and adjacent to a lengthwise slot. The thickness of the aforementioned first section is below 10 mm, and preferably between 2 and 10 mm, and it is bounded by two thicker lengthwise edges that face towards the inner chamber, make contact with the lengthwise edges of the perforated plate and have ends (25) that engage with guide grooves in the body. The seal holder has a U-shaped cross-section, with the two branches forming its edges and a core forming its centre section, and it has a second seal (22) in contact with its thin first section. |
