<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give excellent abrasion-resistance while satisfactorily maintaining antireflection characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: A hard coat layer 2 is installed on a transparent plastic substrate 1 to protect it, an antireflection film 5 with a multilayered structure is formed on it, and a water-repellent film 6 is formed on it to improve water- repellency. The water-repellent film 6 may be formed via a thin carbon film. The antireflection film 5 is formed by laminating a high refractive index dielectric layer 3a, a low refractive index dielectric layer 3b, a high refractive index dielectric layer 3c and a low refractive index dielectric layer 3d one after another from a low layer side. Both the high refractive index dielectric layers 3a and 3c and the low refractive index dielectric layers 3b and 3d differ in film thickness. Both the high refractive index dielectric layer 3c and a carbon thin film 5 which has a comparable refractive index with it constitute a high refractive index layer of a prescribed film thickness. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
