PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flowmeter with high accuracy that suppresses acoustic noise in a passage. SOLUTION: The side walls 8 of the passage with ultrasonic converters 3, 4 thereon are constructed in non-parallel with the ultrasonic emission surfaces 3a, 4a of the ultrasonic converters 3, 4. Therefore ultrasonic multiple reflection between the side walls 8 is suppressed and the acoustic noise remaining in the passage 2 is reduced, thereby realizing therefore the flowmeter with high accuracy.
