摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the reduction in capacity and provide a battery excellent in charge and discharge cycle characteristic by using a lithium-aluminum alloy containing a specified quantity of aluminum as a negative electrode material and a fluorine-containing lithium salt as the solute of a nonaqueous electrolyte, and using a solvent containing 1,3-dioxolane. SOLUTION: As the lithium-aluminum alloy used as a negative electrode material, a lithium-aluminum alloy having an aluminum content ranging from 0.1 to 20 wt.% is used. When the content of aluminum is less than 0.1 wt.%, a proper film excellent in mobility of lithium ion is not formed, and when the quantity of aluminum exceeds 20 wt.%, the lithium-aluminum alloy is bristle and broken by charge and discharge to reduce the charge and discharge cycle characteristic. As the solvent used in a nonaqueous electrolyte, for example, ethylene carbonate or the like is given. A separator 3 is impregnated with the nonaqueous electrolyte, and interposed between a positive electrode 1 and a negative electrode 2.
