PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give fall-off resistance to a bayonet plug fitted on the lower end of the back of a housing of an electric appliance such as a transpiration device with a simple structure, and to prevent generation of a short-circuit. SOLUTION: This electric appliance is of short-circuit prevention structure of the bayonet plug 18 for electric appliance. An insulation cover 30 covering at least an upper section and one side of a root part of the outer periphery of each of the plugs 18A, 18B is provided in an insertion posture of the bayonet plug 18 into a receptacle 19, and the insulation cover 30 is formed integrally with the housing 11 of the electric appliance.
