PURPOSE:To easily alter operation control over the device by rewriting the control information on the ROM in a memory contents initial setting circuit while advancing a control sequence with the control information stored in the memory circuit which is incorporated in a sequence control circuit. CONSTITUTION:When the power source is turned on, the sequence control circuit 2 transfers the contents of the ROM 23 in the memory contents initial setting circuit to the memory circuit 33 and the contents of the memory circuit 33 are used normally as the control information to perform the control, so when an instruction for rewriting the control information is received from a host device, the control information in the memory contents initial setting circuit 1 can be rewritten. Consequently, the rewriting of the control information on the ROM having the same contents by the use of the control information in the memory circuit 33 is equivalent to the rewriting of the information stored in itself and the control is performed with this rewritten control information by turning off the power source temporarily and then turning on the power source.
