PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving device whose supporting mechanism is made sturdy due to a heavy load in the supporting mechanism for supporting a movable element so as not to move in the horizontal direction, when stress acting in the horizontal direction of a movable element is generated. SOLUTION: The driving device is provided with a primary side having a magnetic substance (51) on which a coil (4) is wound and a secondary side having a plurality of permanent magnets (6). The primary side has magnetic poles (11a, 21b) and stepped parts (31, 32) on the magnetic poles. The width of the stepped part is made smaller than that of the permanent magnet.
