PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head suspension which is high-resonance, has excellent impact resistance, can suppress rigidity low and is useful for development of a magnetic disk device. SOLUTION: At least one part of a spring arm 5 of the head suspension 11 provided with a head slider 1 which reads and writes data on a front end in a rocking type head actuator is constituted by using anisotropic material 20 having different rigidity with directions. Therein, the anisotropic material 20 is set to be a laminate structure in which the orientation direction of the high rigidity is allowed to differ with layers. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
