<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of improving control characteristics of an induction motor driven by a variable-voltage and variable-frequency inverter. <P>SOLUTION: A control device 20 is constituted of a command value computing unit 21, a constant computing unit 22, an integrator 12, and coordinate transformation devices 13, 14. The constant computing unit 22 of simple circuit structure derives the leakage inductance Lσ# and exciting inductance Lm# of the induction motor 2 and computes the d-axis voltage command value v<SB>1d</SB>* and q-axis voltage command value v1q* of the induction motor 2 based on the derived values. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
