PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope vegetation method which dispenses with open cut with sloping slide and allows a great volume of thinnings to be effectively utilized at a low cost. SOLUTION: In this slope vegetation method using the thinnings, the respective thinnings, which are arranged on a slope in horizontal and inclined directions, are fixed to the slope by means of a supporting anchor; a wire net is laid on the fixed thinnings; and a vegetation base material is sprayed onto the laid wire net, so as to be supported by each of the thinnings. The wire net is installed on the slope by wire-net covering; and the respective thinnings, which are arranged on the wire net in the horizontal and inclined directions, are mounted for fixation on the wire net; and the vegetation base material is sprayed onto the slope on which the wire net is installed and on which the thinnings are arranged for fixation, so as to be supported by each of the thinnings.
