PURPOSE: A video mail box method is provided to store a video message in a mail box, and to supply the stored video message to a receiver when a call connection fails, thereby supplying an additional service of a video phone and efficiently using resources. CONSTITUTION: If an IAM(Initial Address Message) is inputted to a network interface layer, a video message server(60) replies to the IAM with an ANM(Answer Message)(S211,S212). If a video bearer channel is set between an MSC and a motion picture processor(68)(S214), the motion picture processor(68) delivers a video announcement broadcasting to the MSC(S215). The MSC collects DTMFs inputted by an originator(S216). A motion picture message is recorded or reproduced at the request of the originator(S217). An REL(Release) message is transceived between the MSC and a main unit(67)(S218,S219). A call is disconnected. |
