DEVICE FOR REMOVAL OF CONDENSATE FROM HEAT EXCHANGE APPARATUS

FIELD: equipment for removal of condensate from various heat exchange apparatus; sugar industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed device includes separator and injector mounted under it. Its housing is connected by means of vertical pipes to bottom of separator housing, thus forming circulating loop for delivery of condensate from at least one heat exchange apparatus to separator and recirculation of part of cooled condensate into injector housing. Separator housing is vertically divided into upper and lower chambers by means of partition made in form of funnel; upper and lower chambers are communicated by means of bent overflow pipe. Separator is provided with hydraulic seal formed by pipe whose lower part is blanked off and is located on the outside of housing; upper part of this pipe whose end is open is located in lower chamber. Located concentrically in this pipe at spaced relation is drain branch pipe of funnel. Cooled condensate discharge branch pipe is secured to wall of lower part of external pipe. EFFECT: avoidance of entrainment of condensate with steam; enhanced operational reliability. 2 dwg
